Few more hours down the river and we've arrived at the next lock. Same as the others British waterways key and lock handle required and its self operated.
The West Stockwith Lock Keeper sells anti vandal keys for £6 but we've been going 4 hours and still not needed one. If you were only coming for the day you don't need one. However, they don't sell lock handles and you need one at every lock.
